TV Snow

I never knew what you could say
The world divides us anyways
Behind the walls of something more
The truth of all that's left in store
Someone could tell you were so down
What meaning does it serve you now?
The emptiness that hides your own
It's in the air, it's in your bones
I never knew what you could know
There is no life, just TV snow
It's everyone that you could save
They'll never last, and you won't stave
Someone had told me I was wrong
The world that's solipsistic strong
The everlasting of right now
No one could show you anyhow

Words resolve in company
Defined in mind, they're buried in
A world devoid of self-esteem
The day I would begin
Spin waking, holes in the eyes of a world in bed
Hands shaking, crumble in what I know but never said
A second time to blow off steam
The heads all read the news aloud
A narrow mind, they're burning clean
The day I was so proud
Remind me what it was I walked out of on the way
Store bought dreams, cooked in a summer blind and thrown away
So it begins that I always feel strange
Never remind me what I wouldn't change
In a transition, a ghost on its way
Steps in a corner, all I wanted to say
Erasing, burned in the back of roads we fell down on
It won't seem easy to fix notions now that we're gone
Wait behind the walls, they sing
Arrest the feelings that you hold
I want to know what silence brings
The day I grew so old
